SERVICES
Experienced professional qualified dog grooming.
Full grooms carried out to breed standard, nail clipping, maintenance grooms
All dogs can benefit from professional grooming. Short haired and smooth coated dogs benefit from a bath and brush to keep them smelling fresh and to remove any loose coat. A full groom includes bath/brush out and deshed. Blow dry with a high velocity dryer or a stand dryer for more sensitive dogs. If your dog needs a haircut we can either clip or scissor to your desired style. Then we clean their ears, nails are clipped and hygiene areas clipped. If your dog has any sensitivities or allergies please let us know when you bring your dog in. We use only the best natural shampoos with added essential oils.
DESHEDDING
Long coated/double coats
These coat types will need regular brushing at home out to prevent matting. However, a regular bath and thorough brush out will keep these coats in tip top condition.
Smooth Coated Dogs
This type of coat can shed a great deal, we can help by giving them a bath and thorough brush to remove loose hair.
CLIPPING AND STYLING
Most dogs which require haircuts will need to visit between 4-8 weeks depending upon their coat type and required length. Sometimes it is advisable to bring them in for an in between maintenance bath to help keep them tangle free. If they go over the recommended time, then the price may be more due to the extra time it takes to dry and restyle the dogs coat.
DOODLES
We love these crossbreeds. There is a huge variant in size and coat type with crossbreeds. Typically a poodle or a Bichon cross will be high maintenance. We will talk to you about yours and your dogs lifestyle to determine the best length and style for easiest maintenance. If your dog likes to romp in the mud and long grass then a long coat will soon start to become matted, then maybe a shorter trim will be better for both you and your dog. The beauty of these types of dogs is anything goes, they suit many different styles.
